The Norwegian members of the Aeolidina suborder often have a large number of colorful, relatively long cerata (fringes) on the back. These hold poison captured from digested cnidarians. The translucent grey or white body rarely exceeds a length of 4-5 cm. Many species have two pairs of clearly visible oral tentacles on the head.
