Distribution: This species is more frequent along the west coast of Sweden, but is on rare occasions registered as far north as Trøndelag. Before these pictures were taken it had not been reported in the Trondheim fjord since 1933 when Carl Dons found only a few individuals during his 13 years of dredging. The individual on these pictures was found on muddy substrate in an area of many slender sea pens, on which it feeds. It is most likely to appear on depths between 20 and 70 meters.

Characteristics: This sea slug can reach a length of 4 cm. The body is flattened. It has approximately 50 waving ridges on the back. The color is pale brown with a reddish tint.
