Distribution: The distribution is somewhat uncertain, but probably relatively common along the entire Norwegian coast. It thrives in hydroids like the Kirchenpaueria pinnata.

Characteristics: Doto cuspidata can reach a length of 2,5 cm. The body color is light brown or beige. The cerata are swollen and organized in one row on each side, like most Dotidae. The cerata have grey tubercles and lacks the pigmented spots of the D. pinnatifida.
