Mollusks are
bilaterally symmetrical, that is they are symmetrical around some axis.
They have a well-developed head, including a mouth and a concentration of
nervous and sensory functions. The body is not segmented like the
segmented bristle worms. Next to to the head is a large, muscular
foot. The digestive system is highly developed. Respiration is
done through gills, lungs, or body surface.
Besides all that, many of them are
really beautiful.
