Distribution: Registered along the west coast of Norway, as far north as Lofoten. It is usually found on algae, feeding on encrusting bryozoans.

Characteristics: May be confused with O. muricata but has more pointed tubercles of varying size. The color varies from white to light yellow. It can reach a body length of 2,5 cm.
