Along the cost of Norway there are 20 different species of scorpion fish. Most scorpion fishes live close to the bottom. They are not the best of swimmers and often prefer to lurk on their prey from crevices or other hiding spots. They have spiny rays in their dorsal fins. Many are quite colorful.
