The functional group - rather than a formal order - Errantia includes worms with an errant (freely moving) lifestyle. Many of the free living worms are carnivores with well developed jaws. It is quite common to have a pair of chemosensory palps in front of or next to the mouth. A set of long and mobile antennae are used for food gathering.
