Distribution: The distribution along the coast of Norway is uncertain. It is often seen on hydroids like the Kirchenpaueria pinnata well below the tidal zone.

Characteristics: It can grow to a length of 25 mm. In the back of the head there is a large spine. The first body segment has one spine, the second segment has three. The following segments have a variable number of tubercles. Under the third and fourth segment there are small gills.
