Distribution: Exists along the entire Norwegian coast, usually on hard substrate.

Characteristics: Yellow stem without branches, with a single polyp on the top. The stem is usually 3-15 cm long. Sometimes the 20-30 tentacles constituting the outer ring, can reach a length of 2 cm. A large number of small tentacles form an inner ring around the pale pink polyp.
