Distribution: This beautiful medusae can be found as far North as Lofoten. It is most frequent in the southern parts of Norway. It usually appears in the fall and can be seen on any depth the current might bring it to.
Characteristics: The bell can grow to a length of 2 cm. The tip is somewhat pointed. The long tentacles grow in pairs, juveniles have only one pair of tentacles. Adults with 14 pairs have been observed.
