Characteristics:

These nudibranchs often have a flattened body and short or no tubercles at all. They usually thrives on stony bottom or on algae, where they feed on Bryozoans or hydroids.

Taxonomy:

These nudibranchs were formerly considered members of a suborder Doridina. The taxonomy of nudibranchs is currently under investigation, based on recent genetic studies.
